Harpuia did nothing as Zero wandered his maze. He didn’t even send familiars after him. Instead, he just waited. Waited to see what the other would do. Why was he here? Why did he want to come?

Should he just open the door back to reality? Zero had made it to the exit, not further in. Hm, choices…

“Leave and do not disturb Neo Arcadia.” A voice, frail and soft, resounded through the maze. “You need only step beyond the path.” Yes, he would allow Zero to leave, but Neo Arcadia would remain submerged in his barrier. For now. He couldn’t trust Zero yet.

((OOC: Pfff xD ))

Zero instinctively looked up, even though the voice wasn’t coming from anywhere in particular. He looked back down at the edge of the path for a moment before turning around and walking in the other direction. “Why would I wish to leave? This is an interesting game.” that’s all it was to him. A game.

As he walked he worked on repairing his arm. Even though he could still use it he didn’t need it just falling off if he got into another fight. He paused when he got to a fork in the pathway. Each side looked identical. Instead of following only one he took to the sky again and flew in the middle of both wondering where they might lead. If behind him was the exit then one of the paths below him should lead him further in.

“So be it.” Was the only reply Zero would recieve.

Harpuia sighed from the center of the maze, looking downward. It seemed Zero was approaching the entrance to the next level. Ah, it seemed unavoidable. The further Zero went, the closer he got, until both roads diverged even further.

-

Now, Zero had a choice. To the left, the winds were bellowing, stronger and more chaotic. The area was darker, and had more noxious fumes. There were even more paths in that direction.

The other end was much calmer, the air was pure, and the paths were few.

Zero had to move forward, towards the center of Harpuia’s maze. Towards the door.

Which direction would he take?

Zero, not one for taking an easy route, went left. Besides, every time he got into something the worse choice seemed to always be the right one. He flew through the noxious air, covering his mouth so that his systems didn’t get clogged down with it, and eventually made it to the end of one of the paths. He dropped down to the edge once again and looked around. None of the other paths went as far as this one. Could this be where he was supposed to go?
